FAQ
Questions, answered.
The things people ask most before booking. Don’t see yours? Email Ki@kipaints.com or call 678-718-7792.
How long does a cabinet project take?
About six - seven days for most kitchens. Day one is masking, cleaning and degreasing, then sanding, priming and the sprayed finish.
Do I need to empty my cabinets?
Usually not. When only the frames and doors are being sprayed, your things can stay inside. I’ll tell you at the consultation if anything needs to be moved.
What does cabinet refinishing cost?
Cabinet projects start at $2,500. Your exact price depends on the size of the kitchen, the condition of the cabinets and the finish you choose, and you’ll get it in writing before any work starts.
What’s the difference between the two consultations?
Virtual (free): send photos and a short walkthrough video, and I’ll give you honest feedback and a ballpark price before anyone drives out.
In person ($50, credited toward your project): about 45 minutes at your home. I take measurements, check the condition of every cabinet, show finish and color samples in your light and give you a clear written quote.
Who does the work?
I do. KiPaints is me, with no crews and no subcontractors. The person you meet at the consultation is the person painting your kitchen.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Every project comes with a one-year workmanship warranty.
How do I pay?
Payments go through Square. I don’t accept checks. Deposits and payment plans are available, so ask about them at your consultation.
What do you paint?
Kitchen cabinets, islands, bathroom vanities, built-ins and two-tone designs, plus interior walls, ceilings, trim and doors, with minor drywall repair. Thermofoil cabinets have options too, so send photos and we’ll talk through them.
Do you sell or replace cabinet doors?
No. I refinish the cabinets and doors you already have. I don’t sell replacement doors.
Where do you work?
Atlanta and the cities within about an hour in every direction. The full list is below. If your city isn’t listed but is close, ask anyway.
